Who We AreOakhurst is a 180-bed, JCAHO-accredited rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. We offer a wide range of post-acute care, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and other specialty medical services. We also provide hospice-related services (in partnership with a licensed hospice organization) and respite-care services (for people whose primary, at-home caregiver is temporarily unavailable).
Oakhurst has been part of the Ocala, Florida, community for almost 20 years. In 1998, we opened a new rehabilitation wing, where the focus is on helping patients become as independent as possible, so they can get back to the activities they enjoy. And we're there whenever you need us, accepting admissions 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
